In a landmark event for the cultural education sector of Assam, the Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad has officially declared the results of the state’s first-ever online cultural competition. Over 2,000 students from across the state participated in various categories such as classical music, dance, instruments, and other traditional art forms—making it a grand celebration of Assam’s rich heritage, now embraced through digital platforms.
According to the organizers, participants who secured the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ranks will be awarded both medels and certificates, recognizing their outstanding artistic achievement. Additionally, those who ranked from 4th to 10th place will receive official certificates of merit to honor their commendable performances.
A special highlight of the event is the prestigious Gurushri Award, which will be presented to the teacher of the 1st rank holder. This award is a token of appreciation for their dedicated mentorship and their vital role in nurturing talent in the field of Indian arts.
The Parishad announced that all recognitions will be formally distributed at a grand cultural award ceremony to be held in Assam. This initiative stands as a powerful example of how technology and tradition can merge to create inclusive platforms for young talents across the region.
