At this year’s Parampara School of Music recital, in Connecticut, USA, a meaningful addition was the student-led fundraising initiative, Parampara Cares. As part of the event, students organized an Art and Bake Sale, contributing a variety of home-baked cookies and a few handmade music-inspired artwork.
The initiative saw enthusiastic participation and an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees. All items were sold, with additional donations further supporting the cause—reflecting the strong sense of community and generosity among families and guests.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the Parampara Care Fund, supporting charitable efforts in collaboration with Manabik – A Humane Initiative and the Arshinagar Innovative Mission (Abasik Gurukul Ashram) in Pathar Pratima, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
This initiative stands as a wonderful example of students coming together with creativity, compassion, and a sense of social responsibility.
